Room 4 have been learning all about shapes this week. We learnt how to group different shapes and how to describe them by counting the sides and corners of the shape. Check out our shape people we made this morning.

Cain's Arcade
Inspired by Cain's Arcade, the wonderful story of a 9 year old boy who built an elaborate cardboard arcade, we are participating in the Global Cardboard Challenge on Wednesday 25th September. I hope that everyone had a restful and enjoyable holiday despite the earthquakes! I had a fantastic trip away but am glad to be back at school with all the wonderful Room 4 children and am looking forward to an exciting Term 3!

Just a reminder that next Wednesday children are to be collected at 12:30pm so that teachers can attend a Union meeting in town. Please let me know if your child is going home with someone else or if you will be collecting them. A notice has gone home today with a return slip.
